I lived, worked and got married in Mangagoy, a prosperous barrio of Bislig City for almost 13 years. I left Bislig last 1985 but visited the place last May 2009. And you konw what? I am amzed by the transformation of a community into one of the best city in Surigao City. My friend, don't be afraid. Visit Bislig and enjoy the place. Bislig City is very safe today!

Four years ago, my American husband and I traveled to Mangagoy to visit my relatives. I was nervous for my husband and I because we might get kidnap.
